Grades & report cards

Grading out of 20, coefficients, terms — and the A4 report card.

The grading model

SimsSchool grades out of 20, with per-subject coefficients and a weighted average. The year is split into periods (terms, semesters or quarters depending on the country), each holding one or more assessments — set automatically at configuration.

Enter a grade

1. Open the grid. Menu Grades → choose class, subject and period.
2. Enter. One grade per student; save.
3. Correct, without overwriting. Each correction creates a tracked revision: you always know who entered what, and when.

The report card

The A4 report card shows the student's identity, per-subject and overall averages, rank, and the school's signature + stamp. The photo is optional — see Report card settings.
